Visitor Services
The Convention & Visitors Bureau provides services to conventions and meetings that select Owensboro as their meeting site. All of the CVB's services are available upon request and at no charge to the group. The only requirements are that the group has a block of sleeping rooms at one or more of our hotel properties and the CVB be notified at least two weeks prior to the meeting date.
Pre-registration and on-site registration clerical assistance is offered along with name badges and inserts. Convention supplies provided are an Owensboro Visitors Guide, a 10x13 convention envelope and a small post-it note pad. A calendar of events and the regional visitor guide are also available. We are glad to assist in planning an itinerary that fits your group. Step on tour guides are also available to show you our wonderful city.
Conventions and meetings are an integral part of tourism in Owensboro, and services are provided to ensure the success of meetings held here. If you are involved with a group that qualifies for our services, please have your meeting planner call the CVB office for assistance.

The Owensboro Sportscenter is a multi-purpose 5,000 seat arena capable of hosting concerts, sporting events, trade shows, conventions, meetings, and receptions.
The actual floor size is 135 x 83. The height from floor to ceiling is 31 feet. The permanent stage size is 50 x 22, and can be expanded with portable staging.

With almost 15,000 sq/ft available and plenty of parking, Pangea Center's convenient location in the heart of Owensboro makes it the ideal spot for your next event. Pangea Center offers space for company meetings, family reunions, birthday parties, and other special events at a reasonable price. Catering is available through Pangea Cafe/Catering.
RIVERPARK CENTER

Situated downtown on the Riverfront with a magnificent patio overlooking the Ohio River, this performing arts center includes a 1,500-seat multi-purpose auditorium and features 6 different areas that can be rented for receptions, dinners, luncheons, dances, meetings, seminars, etc. Additional amenities include full bar service and a list of 30 approved caterers from which to choose.
